First spring flower in my garden!
As this garden is new to me, identifying what’s already here is high on the to do list.
When we bought this house in autumn this tree had beautiful black/purple foliage, and now I’m seeing a single cherry/plum shaped flower. Thinking this might be a PRUNUS CERASIFERA or flowering cherry plum???
Hopefully some edible fruit might appear, but only time will tell. It has a smaller white flowered version growing very close to it, hard to tell if the second one was planted deliberately or sprung up from a fallen pip. I suspect the latter as most of the other trees are planted evenly spaced.
