My little home in Titirangi has sold, and we are moving to the South Island. There are so many reasons behind the move, it’s something that we’ve talked about on and off for years, and it’s finally really happening!
I will miss Auckland a lot, but I am very excited for new adventures, and excited to have more space for gardening.
One of the hard things is of course… how to you pack a garden? I’m mostly just bringing seeds! I did have grand dreams of digging up every tree and putting them all on a truck, but realistically many of my Auckland fruit trees won’t survive a snow day. So it’s best to leave them where they are, and start with what grows well locally when I get my new place.
Well, I’m keeping this post short and sweet. I have a lot to get done this week.
