Some more pictures from the snowy day yesterday.

5) Snow on the brick bbq I’m slowly converting to a herb garden.
6) Snow on the garlic, and broad beans, and a few brassicas… they should be fine I reckon.

8) Snow has stopped and time for fun! It was the first time I’d seen the kind of soft fluffy snow that easily rolls up into a ball.
9) By the afternoon, most of the snow was disappearing fast. But the big snowball is still on the lawn.
10) After the first lot melted, a second light dusting of snow/sleet fell late in the afternoon. I thought it was hail at first, but the tiny snowballs were soft, not hard and painful like icy hail. I wonder if these little tiny bouncing snow balls have a special name?
