The new garden, the new quiet rectangle. I’ve arrived! These can be the ‘before’ pics that I’ll look back on later. It’s a blank slate. I’ve been taking time to ID some of the plants and figure out what can stay, and what needs to go.
1) Back yard with sun heading behind the mountains, and gnomes awaiting a new garden spot.
2) Travel companions safely arrived after the long trip and wait between houses, Mosaic the cat, this pot plant I love but can never remember the name of, my gardening diary, and my precious box of saved seeds.
3) Getting rid of this is the garden chore I’m dreading the most (closely followed by dealing with an excess ivy issue)
4) Close-up of the mountains from the lounge window
5) Front/side lawn area
6) Front/side lawn with hedge
7) An olive! A real olive!
I’m super excited about having a bigger area to garden in, I’m still in the planning stages but of course I’ve already started buying fruit trees
